I'm user SportTracks on a PC, but changed now to a Mac. TrailRunner looks very nice for me, but I would like to have all my data together.
So, is it possible to import the datas from SportTracks?

You can now directly import SportTracks fitlog files:

Please let me know how it works and if I am not missing anything.

Hi Marcel. Currently this is not possible but I could write an importer for the SportsTracks XML Export. Unfortunately this is a lot of work and I can only do it if demand is high enough.
I added your vote to this feature request. -

Hi Berbie
I tried to find the feature request to add my vote but I could not see it at ideas.

Hi This is David
I am on the verge of getting a MAC as I 'm so frustrated using PCs! I have approx 5 years of Sporttracks software logged! my GPS device is a garmin 310XT:
1. I would be willing to pay for the ability to import all that Sporttrack data into you application.
2. it looks like using my garmin won't be a problem is that correct?-
Hi David, one user -- called Stefan -- has written or is about to write a SportsTrack to TCX exporter with additional fields to migrate almost anything over to TrailRunner. Regarding the 310XT import of new workouts into TrailRunner is no Problem.
Welcome aboard!!

Hi David, yep, berbie is right. I switched from Windows to Mac, too and had exactly the same problem regarding Sporttracks->Trailrunner-Import. The SportTracks-plugin is ready to be used, but we are currently working on a feature to import activities with no GPS data, but only hearbeat data (e.g. indoor activities). As soon as this functionality works, too I will put my Sporttracks-Plugin to the public, of course for free, but if you are willing to donate, you are welcome ;) If you don't have any indoor-activities to import and want to do a little beta testing of the plugin, please let us know.

Well I have loved my sport tracks but I felt it was just time to maybe enjoy working/playing on computer rather then just muddling through the I just ordered my mac book pro. I have every activiity you can imagine, indooor, outdoor, indoor with GPS because forgot to turn off the GPS when inside, outdoor with out heart rate monitor because somedays I just wanted to walk and no let "getting a workout in" ruin my walk, etc etc so I might be a pretty good tester. And I would be happy to help out. Should have the machine in a few days.

Hi, just one important information: TrailRunner cannot import and display recordings that have no distance information! So food-pod required for any indoor trainings.
I may add this in the future but currently it's not in there.
cheers,

As an alternative to the fitlog-import you can export the Sporttracks activities via the new Sporttracks Export2Tcx plugin and import the activities from this Tcx file back into the Trailrunner (or any other Tcx supporting training software - e.g. Garmin Trainingcenter).
The Sporttracks plugin is available here (via the Sporttracks plugin catalog):

APIs between ST2 and ST3 changed a little bit - especially regarding export of multiple activities, therefore it's not sufficient to just recompile the sources. What's your motivation ? In case you want to completely switch from ST to Trailrunner, then the temporary update to ST3 (no charges) is ok; if you want to continue to use ST2 I understand your motivation...

I need edit the tracks and st3 is unusable.
I am not need multiple export.
i will continue like now with the converter i do it quickly, but i preferred to avoid a step. -

@Christof: Did you really update to Trailrunner 3.3.579 ? We took care about Track name and additional notes...and it works fine on my system... (of course with the latest version of Trailrunner)
Additional question: Did you use the fitlog or TCX import ? I'm talking about the TCX import! You can get the TCX Export plugin for free via the above mentioned link!-
I used both... I played around and lost a litte bit the overview yesterday ;-)
Today I did some serious tests. TCX-Import works fine. Notes, names, tracks, anythig works great.
Only the Location name (witch is a special field in Sporttaks) is not included...
My wife used this field instead of the track name :-( but no problem, it takes me less then a hour to fix this in Sporttracks first...
Thanks for your help... -
